3 Eye Makeup Looks using the Urban Decay Vice 3 palette

Hello!
Eye shadow palettes are my favourite makeup items and I've been thoroughly enjoying the new Urban Decay Vice 3 palette (review) for the last 2 weeks loving it even more than at the beginning. I've created different eye makeup looks from very neutral to dramatic, to fun colourful ones. There are lots of possibilities as the palette consists of great range of shades. I love experimenting with my eye makeup and even though I'm not a makeup artist nor an expert in applying my makeup I still like to share with you, guys, my creations.
So let's get to it.

1. Fall leaves inspired eye makeup look.

Downfall in the crease as the transition shade, Lucky all over the lid apart from the outer corner, Vanity in the outer corner of the eye and lightly in the crease, Bondage in the outer corner of the eye lid just to deepen that area, Last Sin in the inner corner, Truth under the brows.
On the lower lash line Lucky and Bondage in the outer part of the lid.
Black eye liner and mascara.
Nude pencil on waterline.

2. Everyday 'no makeup' makeup using only matte shades.

Downfall in the crease, Undone all over the lid, Truth in the inner corner and on the brow bone, DTF to darken the outer corner of the eye.
DTF on the lower lash line.
Black mascara.
Nude pencil on waterline.

3. Smokey grey/taupe eye look with purple crease.

Undone in the crease as a transitional colour, Angel all over the lid, Defy on the outer part of the eye and lightly in the crease, Alchemy in the upper crease to warm up the look, Bobby Dazzle in the inner corner and under the brow.
On the lower lid Angel and Defy to darken the outer past of the lid.
Black mascara.
Nude pencil on waterline.

So these are the 3 eye makeup looks I decided to share with you. As you can see the Vice 3 palette is very versatile even though it looks initially super colourful. I love it and the quality of eye shadows is great, there is a bit of fall out with some of the shades but the pigmentation, blendability and staying power is really good.
I hope you enjoyed seeing these looks and if you have any questions about the rest of my makeup leave them in the comments section below and I'll be happy to answer them.

  1. I love all three looks and it really shows just how versatile the palette is with so many gorgeous shades. The last look especially is my favourite, you looks stunning! I have found that some of the UD eyeshadows can have quite the fallout sometimes x

    1. Thank you Alina, you're so sweet! Yeah, I was expecting no fall out whatsoever with UD eye shadows but I guess it's hard to avoid this little issue. I'm still impressed with their quality though. x

    1. Thank you Jasmine! I thought I wouldn't wear the green and blue but I actually used them already and really like the finished effect so sometimes having different colours in the palette make us to experiment with them :) x

  6. Such a versatile palette! I really like the first look with the nude pencil in the waterline to brighten things up and the lighter colour in the center of the lid. It create a nice autumnal gradient!

  8. These looks are so pretty! And not to mention your beautiful!
I was so inspired at the way you put the colors together and made three complete different full face looks with the same eyeshadow palette. I can't wait to play with some of my palettes some more now!

    1. Aww thank you! You're very kind! I love playing with my eye shadow palettes! Sometimes you just keep using the same shades all the time instead of experimenting with the whole palette. I'm glad I inspired you to do that with your makeup :) x
