I've been lately very obsessed with berry coloured lipsticks, the one I've been loving is from Rimmel by Kate #30 and I try to wear every time I can. One Saturday I decided to glam myself up a bit and create a makeup focused on the berry lips with not too dramatic eye but also with a touch of berry shade on the lids.
I remembered this gorgeous eye shadow from Makeup Revolution 'Eyes like Angels' palette which is called 'Sophisticated Pink' but for me it's really a cranberry colour and I used it for my eye lids.
I used #1 called 'Peach Cream' in my crease and entire lid as a transition shade, then I applied #2 'Sophisticated Pink' on my lid focusing on the centre of the lid. In the inner corner of my eyes I applied #3 'Dream' and outer corners I darkened with #4 'Molton Chocolate' which I also blended lightly in to the crease. I used #2 and #4 on my lower lid.
Then I lined my waterline with Rimmel Scandaleyes pencil in Nude to brighten and optically open up my eyes as they're naturally quite small, and coated my lashes with Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. I also used false lashes from The Vintage Company called 'Gracie' which I forgot to photograph. I rarely ever wear false lashes and always end up taking them off a few minutes later, so much for looking glamorous, lol!
As usual I used my Rimmel eye brow pencil in Dark Brown and Maybelline BrowDrama in Medium Brown.
Benefit Porfessional face primer
MaxFactor Face Finity All Day Flawless foundation in Beige
Rimmel Wake Me up concealer (can't read the shade, sorry)
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch highlighting concealer in Nude
L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Powder in Light
Rimmel Natural Bronzer in 022 Sun Bronze
So Susan Universal Blush
Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate #30
And that's the finished look!
I love the lip colour and also I like how the eye make up turned out. What do you think?
