Manicure Monday #15 So Susan 'Hot Sand'

Nail Laquer So Susan in Hot sand
Today I'm showing you yet another So Susan Nail Lacquer, this time in Hot Sand, grey-ish beige colour with tiny speckles of golden glitter. I'm not the biggest fan of grey, muddy paddles-like nail polishes but this one looked really pretty in the bottle and different from any other shades I have in my collection. It was one of the 5 nail polishes I received in the latest LacquerLove subscription box but you can buy it individually from So Susan website if you like the look of this colour.

So Susan Nail Lacquer in Hot Sand

The formula of 'Hot Sand' is pretty good, two thin coats are enough to give an opaque, glossy finish, it's easy to apply and dries up quickly. It lasts on my nails around 3 days before starting to wear off on the tips and slightly chipping.
The colour looks quite elegant and sophisticated and those tiny speckles of glitter add a special touch to it. The shade looks grey, beige or olive depending on the light. This is another perfect colour for Autumn, more suitable for office or any work place than purples and burgundys :)

Are you a fan of those grey/beige shades for nails? What colour are you wearing this week?

  1. This is such a lovely shade! I'm always attracted to grey/nude shades such as these x
