FOTD #1 Bronzed eyes and red lips

Hello!
I love playing with make up, swatching all the beautiful shades of eye shadows, lipsticks etc. on the back of my hand and of course wearing it. On everyday basis, with two small children running around me, I don't have much time to spend hour in front of the mirror but on weekends, when my husband is at home, I like to take my time to make myself look pretty:) I love to experiment with different looks and general have fun with all those pretty products I keep buying. I'm not expert by any means, far from it, and at the age of 35 I'm still learning what suits me best. But as I enjoy making myself up I thought that I would occasionally share with you, guys, some of my looks I create.

FOTD BRonzed eyes and red lips

I never used to wear red lipsticks but lately I've been experimenting with some bright colours for my lips and I started to really enjoy them so the look I'm sharing with you today is focused on bright red lips. To make the lips stand out I decided to wear simple bronze/golden eye make up.

Here's what I used:
Face
MaX Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless foundation in Beige, I've been using it for more than a month and I'm still not sure if I really like it but it is a good base product with medium coverage.
Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer ( the name of the shade has worn off and I don't remember it, sorry) to correct my under eye circles.
Maybelline Dream Lumi touch highlighting concealer in Nude to highlight under eye area, the bridge of my nose, the area between my eye brows and above my upper lip.
For my cheeks I used Bourjois Cream Blush in 01 Nude Velvet as it gives just a healthy flush of colour, perfect to pair with bright red lips.
To set everything in place I used All About Matt powder from Essence.
Rimmel Natural Bronzer in 022 Sun Bronze to warm up my complexion, I dusted it around my hair line, on top of my cheeks, lightly on the top of my nose, everywhere where the sun naturally bronzes us.
As a highlighter I used this beautiful eye shadow from OFRA in Bliss and lightly apply it on top of my cheek bones.

Eyes and brows
I filled my brows with Rimmel EyeBrow Pencil in Dark Brown and set it with a Maybeline BrowDrama in Medium Brown.
To create my eye make up look I used my well loved eye shadow palette by Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup 'Death By Chocolate'.

I applied 'One More Bar' in my crease, then patted 'Fool's Gold' all over my lid and darkened slightly my outer corner with 'Devour Me' which I applied also on my lower lid. I blended the edges above my crease with 'White Light' taking it up till my brow and added 'Bring Down Angels' in the inner corners of my eyes.
Then I lined my waterline with Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Pencil in Nude and applied 2 coats of my favourite mascara Better Than Sex Mascara from Too Faced.

Lips
I lined my lips with MaXFactor Colour Elixir Lip Liner in Red Rush to help the lipstick stay in place and with its longevity.
For my lips I chose this gorgeous bright red lipstick from Rimmel Moisture Renew in Mayfair Red Lady. I absolutely love this shade and the formula of this lipstick is great.

And that's the finished look :)

make up: bronzed eyes and red lips

I liked this look a lot, something different from my simple everyday make up, for a weekend night out (or night in but feeling and looking a bit more glamorous).
I really enjoyed writing this post and I hope you liked seeing it.

Let me know if you'd like me to review any of the products I used creating this make up look.
