I can not believe we are already half way through the year! Where's the time gone? But I love Summer, long, warm days, BBQs, holidays, picnics, sandals, floaty dresses ... so I'm really happy it's July already!
It's come the time to talk to you about beauty products I enjoyed the most throughout June. I'm still loving my May Favourites but these are new things I've been reaching for and enjoying a lot recently.
Victoria's Secret Pure Daydream Fragrance Mist, 250ml, £8.20, ever since I heard about the Victoria's Secret Fragrances from American youtubers I wanted to get my hands on them and only just recently I found them on ebay very affordable so I got a bit crazy:) I adore body mists for Summer! After morning shower I like to spritz the mist all over my body, and I mean ALL over;) to leave me feeling fresh and nice smelling. Also I love to refresh myself during the day with lovely fragranced mist. Victoria's Secret has a huge variety of Fragrance Mists and I want to try most of them! The one I've been reaching for nearly every day for the last couple of weeks is Pure Daydream. It's a blend of Pearl Orchid and Pink Currant and the first notes you can smell are slightly sweet fruity ones followed by subtle orchid scent. I love it! For me it smells like a sunny Summer day:) The scent lasts around 4 hours on my skin so not bad for body mist. The formula is also infused with conditioning Aloe Vera and calming Chamomile to add a bit of care to your skin.
Most of Victoria's Secret Fragrance Mists are blends of flowers and fruits so they might seem to be kind of sweet and yes, the ones I've smelled have subtle sweet notes but nothing sickly. I'm kind of slightly obsessed with them at the moment so keep your eyes peeled for more of them appearing in my future posts.
Makeup Revolution London Awesome Eyeshadow and Eyebrow Palette 'Make Believe', £4, I've been loving this little palette for experimenting with brighter colours on my eye lids and have been reaching for it every time I'm doing full eye make up. The quality of eye shadows is really good, the shades are beautiful and the price is shockingly low, what's not to love?! Check out my post for the full review of this palette.
A La Carte Divine Lash Mascara, £23, I received this mascara a few months ago in a beauty box and it's the only product I've used from A La Carte. After checking their website I've found out they are London based company with 40 years experience in creating luxurious make up and skincare products.
In the last couple of months I've been using this mascara and I love it! It separates my lashes giving them a bit more volume, length and very intense black colour. The rubber brush tapered at the end is perfect for me to apply evenly the mascara even in the corners of my eyes and on lower lashes. It's long wearing, doesn't smudge on my eyes but it's really easy to remove with my beloved Garnier Micellar Water . It's definitely on the pricey side but if you can afford it I would highly recommend trying it.
Bourjois Cream Blush 01 'Nude Velvet', £7.99, ever since receiving this cream blush in the latest BBB Dream Box I've been using it nearly daily. It's a very subtle, peachy nude shade, perfect for every day minimal make up to add a touch of healthy colour to my cheeks. The formula is beautifully creamy with velvety finish, blends easily and stays around 4 hours before it needs to be touched up. It tends to accentuate my large pores, as other cream blushes, so I need to blend it really well into my skin but I still love the healthy glow it gives me and will be definitely trying other shades from this range.
Bee Good Honey & Wild Water Mint 3-in-1 Cleansing Water, 100ml, £10, another product from the latest BBB Dream Box, it's a liquid that removes make up, cleanses and tonnes the skin.
Bee Good is a new British brand using ethically sourced British bee-ingredients: honey, propolis and beeswax blended with naturally active botanicals and British plant oils. They don't use synthetic colours, mineral oil, silicone, SLS and SLES or parabens and don't test on animals.
Such a lovely little company whose Cleansing Water I've been enjoying using for the last month. It contains British Wild Flower Honey, British Propolis extract, Water Mint leaf extract and Red Algae extract. It removes the make up with ease and it's gentle for the eye area. I've been using it as my morning cleanser rather than make up remover as I just prefer my budget friendly Micellar Water to do the dirty job while I want to take all the benefits Bee Good Cleansing Water offers. I like to use it in the morning to remove all the night's grime from face. The Water is very gentle, with a slight fragrance to it and leaves my skin clean, refreshed, moisturised and comfortable without feeling tight. I definitely think my skin looks brighter after using this product for a few weeks. Totally worth trying in my opinion.
So these are my newest favourite beauty products! Have you tried any of them? What's your one recent most loved product?
