Last month I've used up quite a few products, most of them full sized and some sample sizes of skincare products. I love getting and using samples that are big enough to have a few uses out of it which is perfect to find out if you like the product and if it's suitable for you, it is especially helpful with more expensive brands.
Botanics All Bright Gentle Cleansing Cream and Cleansing Toner, (RRP £3.99 each) I used this duo as a part of my evening skincare routine for the last 3 months and I quite like it. Both of them contain hibiscus flower rich in natural AHAs which act as mild exfoliators to help smooth and brighten the skin. The toner contains also butylene glycol helping with the skin cells renewal. They did leave my skin feeling clean and brighter but also dried it up a bit so I won't be repurchasing any of them and I found already a better replacements.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, (RRP £4.99) I started using micellar waters a few months ago to remove my make up and never looked back. This one is such a good value for money, I've stocked up on it when it was on offer in Boots. It removes all my make up easily and doesn't irritate my eyes, just perfect as a part of my cleansing process.
Garnier Ultimate Blends Shampoo The shine revitaliser, (RRP £2.79) with lemon extracts and green tea, it's a new range of shampoos and conditioners from Garnier. This one smells so fresh and left my hair very clean but I didn't noticed any extra shine. I might buy it again together with conditioner from the same range to see if they will work better as a duo.
Nivea Lemon & Oil Shower Gel, (RRP £2.59) again, it smells very fresh, perfect for morning Summer shower and it doesn't dry up my skin like other shower gels. I will definitely repurchase it.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar K, (RRP £13) it's my holy grail moisturiser to keep my skin smooth, pores tighter and cleaner and any blemishes at bay. You can read my full review here. I've repurchased it already, can't be without it!
Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream, (RRP £25.50 full size) this 3g sample lasted me over two weeks using it twice a day and I really like. It's just the right consistency for me, not too light and not too thick, perfect for day, under make up and in the evening, left my skin moisturised and soft. I got another sample of this eye cream and keep using it in the evening as I have right now another eye product which I'm using in the morning.
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Hands, (RRP £6.50) the best hand cream I've ever used for dry, sensitive hands. I scrapped the last tiny bits from the tube and, as you can see, I even cut the tube through, I didn't want to waste any of the product. I've already repurchased it as my hands need it every single day.
Avene Hydrance Optimale Light Hydrating Cream SPF20, (RRP £14.50) I got this sample from Mistry's Pharmacy, (read my post) and it was enough to use it 5 times. It's a lovely cream that keeps my skin hydrated, doesn't make it more oily or irritated and has SPF20, perfect! I want to purchase it full size.
Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Cleanser, (RRP £25 full size) and Triple Rose Renewing Moisturiser, (RRP £56 full size), these samples were a free gift with May edition of Marie Claire. I've never tried anything from this brand before and was very excited to have those samples as Aromatherapy Associates is a well known brand and expensive one. The Cleanser is amazing, left my skin clean, super soft and hydrated. The cream is also very nice, a bit too thick for my oily skin so I tried it only at night and it was such a pleasure to use it, it left my skin super soft. They are out of my budget range but if I could I would definitely buy the full size cleanser.
Dior J'Adore, (RRP £65), it's one of my all time favourite perfume, floral but sophisticated and sensual, makes me feel glamorous and chic. I love it! I was very sad to finish it but I hope another pretty bottle will be on my dressing table soon:)
