My May You Beauty Discovery box has arrived! And once again it's a good one!
This month You Beauty teamed up with CEW(UK) (Cosmetic Executive Woman) in celebration of their annual CEW(UK) 2014 Beauty Awards, known as "the Oscars of the beauty industry". So May's shortlist of products to choose from consists of finalists and winning brands of CEW(UK).
This month I've chosen for my box:
Fake Bake - 60 minutes Self-Tan Liquid &Professional Mitt, 236ml(full size), RRP £21.20 - I am not a self-tanning person, in fact, I've never actually used a product like this before. But seeing Fake Bake is on the May shortlist of products I was instantly drawn to it and decided to give it go after reading many great reviews on this. And with Summer just around the corner I'm more than happy to get some golden tan without the need of plenty of sunshine and time to have bronzed skin. Fake Bake supposed to be the longest lasting, most natural looking, ultimate fake tan. I will post a review on this as soon as I try it.
Glamglow - Supermud Clearing Treatment, 10g(sample size), RRP £44.99 (34g) - "This amazing detoxifying mud mask is fantastic for fighting all common skin concerns - it helps with the brightening and evening of the complexion; creates a more youthful and smooth skin tone; improves elastin and collagen; de-clogs and minimises pore size and fights unwanted breakouts, by reducing redness and super-speeding the healing process." Anything with this kind of claims will get my attention, I'm always looking for products to minimise and clear my pores, even out my skin tone. Glamglow masks have been known as a super effective treatments and they are rather expensive so when I got the chance to try it I couldn't miss it. I tried before Glamglow YOUTHMUD Tinglexfoliate Treatment and I liked it so I'm very curious how this one will perform.
Like every month there are some extra treats in the box:
Lizi's Granola - Naturally Indulgent Toasted Granolas, 50g (sample), RRP £3.45(500g) - one portion of nutritious, healthy toasted granolas to start your day the perfect way.
Caudalie - Divine Legs, sample sachet, RRP £26 (100ml) - tinted lotion that gives the skin sunkissed look without sun exposure or self -tan, perfect when there will be a need of exposing my pale legs without any time for self-taning products to workits magic.
Charles Worthington - Moisture Seal Hair Healer Leave-in Conditioner, 10ml sample, RRP £5.99 (200ml) - I'm not a big fan of leave-in conditioners as they tend to weigh down my hair and make them greasy even faster but as this one claims to be lightweight, yet intensely nourishing, rich in Argan Oil I might give it a go as it sounds like a great product. If I like it, there is £2 off coupon inside to redeem with any purchase from the Charles Worthington range at Boots.
Once again You Beauty Discovery impressed me with their selection of products to choose from and an amazing value of the box. If you haven't subscribe to it yet you can do it here, monthly cost is £6.95 including p&p.
