It's time of the month again when Love Me Beauty box arrives and for sharing my thoughts on its content. This month I was rather disappointed with the selection of products and just because I forgot about the possibility of pausing my subscription, which is a brilliant idea, I've ordered my box with items from menu 3. I wasn't very excited when I got the box but there are nice things which I will use so it's not a total waste of money.
So onto the products:
Nail Girls Nail Polish in Nude Pink, RRP £13.50 - this is the product I was the most excited about as I am self confessed nail polish addict and this dusky bubble gum pink shade is beautiful and perfect for Spring/Summer. The formula is lovely too, it applies smoothly and two thin coats give an opaque finish with a very slight, barely there, silver shimmer.
Raw Skincare Natural Lip balm in Rescue Me, RRP £1.98 - I haven't heard of the brand before but a quick look at their website let me learn that they produce natural, eco friendly skincare products. The lip balm is supposed to moisturise, soothe and calm sore dry lips. I can't live without a good lip balm so this went straight to my handbag as being a stick is great to use it on the go. It's nearly scentless and quite waxy but leaves the lips hydrated and soft.
Suti Trial Pack of Cleanse Balm, Purity Balm and Fabulous Foot Balm, RRP £6.50 - again a brand I've just learnt about. While browsing their website I found you can purchase the Trial Pack which includes also Rejuvenate Face Oil, Nourish Face Oil, 4ml each and 2ml of Honour Face Cream for £6.50, here, so the value of the one I received is not accurate. And to be honest I would rather prefer to get one bigger sample than those tiny three but anyway I will be happy to test those balms.
Teapigs Tea in Super Fruit, 3 bags, value £0.85 - while I like herbal and fruit teas and I'm happy to try this particular one I am not really excited to get 3 bags of tea in my beauty box. The tea is delicious though.
GO Stationery Pocket Notebook Set in Meadow Bird, RRP £5 - I was very disappointed when I saw they are included in this month's Love Me Beauty box as it's not something I want to get in my beauty box but now I have them I'm glad because they are super cute and very handy to have in your handbag or on your desk for taking any notes. I started using one already for my weekly meal panning and shopping list.
The real value of this month's box is under £25 and is one of the lowest since I subscribed in December but still quite good considering the box costs £10 + p&p.
If you like the look of this box you can subscribe to it here.
