Being a skincare and make up lover there is always something I want to get, every single month I'm adding to my wish list and of course there are always some essentials I just need to buy.
So in March, apart from getting my subscription beauty boxes, (you can read about them here and here) I bought a few skincare, make up and body care products.
After discovering Escentual.com at the beginning of the month and seeing they are running till the end of March an amazing offer of up to 1/3 off on French Pharmacy brands I couldn't resist and had to pick up these three products which were on my list for way too long.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar K - Renovating Care For Oily Skin 30ml, RRP £14.50, right now £9.66 - this is a little brother of the famous Effaclar Duo and promises to "perform an intense, fine and targeted micro-exfoliation which unclogs pores and transforms the surface of the skin". And this is what I'm hoping for, to eliminate those clogged pores and other imperfections on my face.
La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense Eyes - Targeted Rehydration 15ml, RRP £15, now £10 - I'm finishing my eye cream and even though I'm happy with it I want to try another one. And this one sounds pretty good: "The intensive cream offers targeted hydration, smoothing out dehydration lines with hyaluronic acid fragments, sodium hyaluronate and glycerin. It also has a draining effect on bags and puffy eyelids with a dose of energising caffeine. La Roche-Posay thermal spring water combats dark circles"
Vichy Dermablend Corrective Cream Stick SPF30 4.5g in Opal, RRP £15, now £10 - I've been reading so many good reviews about this Dermablend range and I decided to try the stick one as it's more like a concealer and I have a few broken capillaries on my face very hard to conceal so we'll see if this one is going to be better than any other concealer I've tried.
No week is complete without a trip to my local Boots (kid's staff is always a good excuse) so on a few occasions I picked up these products:
Nivea Shower Gel Sunny melon &oil and Lemon &oil, RRP £2.59, currently on offer for £1.29 - I'm not fussy with shower gels, but I like Nivea ones as they are good quality for money and they don't dry my skin out like others. These two are smelling so beautifully fresh and remind of summer so are great for my morning shower to give me some bust of energy.
Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask 100ml, RRP £6.99, now £4.66 - anything that promises to unclog my pores and refine the texture of my skin is welcomed to my skincare. I love clay masks and currently don't have any other so I had to take advantage of this one being on offer.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water 400ml, RRP £4.99, now on offer £3.33 - I've been using L'Oreal Micellar Solution to remove my make up for the last 6 months or so and after seeing the Garnier one is better value for money I decided to try it and see if it's as good.
BarryM Aquqrium Collection in Marmaid and Pacific, RRP £3.99, now 'buy one get 2nd half price' in Boots - ever since I saw bloggers posting about this new BarryM collection I knew I had to get at least the blue shades. I love them, they're beautiful, make me think of summer holidays, watching sunset on the beach while sipping cold cocktails. You can expect seeing swatches very soon as I can't wait to wear them on my nails.
Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder in 51, RRP £6.99- this one I actually got it from Amazon for £5 after reading this post on one of my favourite blogs: Makeup Savvy. I'm not much into contouring but thought this natural looking bronzer will be perfect for spring to add some colour to my pale face.
