My opinion on... Seche Vite Top Coat and Orly Bonder Basecoat

Hello everyone!
I am one of those unlucky girls who has chipped nails within hours of painting them, how annoying!
So I searched the blogosphere with hope of finding some miraculous products to extend the life of polish on my nails. And these two are the ones I decided to buy:

I have been using them for 2 months now and definitely I can see improvement in longevity of my nail polish but there are not miracles! Normally I have some tiny chips by the second day of wearing  the polish and on day 3 usually I have to remove it as I can't stand my chipped nails. Obviously, as a mum of two I do lots of housework during the day but I always use gloves for any sort of cleaning. I blame my weak and peeling nails for not holding well the polish.
Anyway, those are my thoughts on the products:
Orly Bonder Rubberized Basecoat £10.07 (here)- it has thin consistency, applies easily and dries up quickly with matte finish, it is transparent on nails despite looking orange in the bottle. This basecoat suppose to help adhere the nail polish to your nail and extend its wear time.
I think it does what it says, I have my manicure that bit longer than without it. Also I used it couple of times without Seche Vite on top and my nail polish lasted the same time as with top coat. And of course as a base coat it protects your nails from staining. Even though it doesn't perform as I wish it would I am going to happily use it up.
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat £6.48 (full size here)- I don't think this product needs introducing as it seems that everyone involved with beauty has used it and knows it. I read many reviews saying that it gets gloopy quickly so I decided to buy a mini version to see how we get on. And I am really glad I didn't buy the big bottle as even with this little it got thick half way through and difficult to apply.
Yes, it dries up super fast, yes, it does give a beautiful gloss, BUT in my opinion, doesn't extend the time of nail polish without chipping AND somehow shrink it. After using it my nails look like there is a tip wear already. So strange! I will not be repurchasing it and I am looking for another top coat.
What's your opinion on these two products? Can you recommend a good top coat?
Kind regards
