So firstly, hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet!
As it's my first blog post I thought it would be a good idea to share with you my thoughts and first impressions of this month Love Me Beauty Box
Just recently discovered this beauty box and decided to subscribe straightaway as I like the idea of choosing your box from three menus available every month, so it's less likely you end up with products absolutely useless for you.
This month in the box were 4 products you could choose yourself and one extra mystery product which was supposed to be 'a hero' product from previous boxes. I like the idea of a little surprise there.
So let me show you contents of this lovely box.
And the products are:
Inner Me, Beautify Me Vitamin Complex, RRP £15
It claims to be ultimate beauty supplement for skin, hair and nails, with seven fabulous nutrients, like biotin, zinc, selenium, silica, marine collagen. It's a two weeks supply, so you should be able to see some results after taking those.
I'm excited to try this supplement as my skin and specially nails need some help to look better, so we shall see in a couple of weeks if that helped.
Percy & Reed, No-Fuss Flawlessness Dry Conditioner, RRP £12 (150 ml)
It's supposed to give your hair a healthy softness and shine without water. I read some reviews saying it smells disgusting but in my opinion the smell is quite fresh and not overpowering. I used it only once so it's hard to say what real benefits are but my hair felt nicely soft. Definitely I will be testing more this dry conditioner.
Bakewell Soap Company,
Multi-Purpose Pocket Balm in 'My Chang' RRP £3.95 (25g)
This balm claims to be soothing hydration for lips, hands, nails and body with oils rich in Omega 3 and 6- essential for healthy skin. I've been using this balm on my dry cuticles and lips and I really like it and see the skin is getting really soft. The consistency is a bit like Vaseline but the product is not as greasy and absorbs nicely leaving citrusy scent.
La Claree, Smooth Day Face Care RRP £28
This day cream is meant to nourish the skin and optimize the production of collagen and prevent signs of aging. As it's only 7ml sample it's not possible to see how really this cream works but I've used it twice and it absorbs quickly leaving the skin very soft and not greasy at all. It's nice to try different brands and products, specially those you never heard of before so I'm really glad to get this sample.
And "the mystery product"
Models Own nail polish in Prussian Blue
It's a blue colour with a hint of purple, I really love this shade, especially as I didn't own any dark blue nail polish. I think the colour would look good on your nails all year round, I will be posting some photos and review of this polish later on.
In overall I am really happy with my box, it's a whooping value of nearly £40 worth products for £10 + £2.95p&p you pay for your box.
